I believe that Nature truthfully loves man, to see in the original form of man the mirrored image of God. Nature receives man, embraces him, associates with him, even connecting with him as lovers or as a mother loves her new born. However man, childlessly, is not capable to recognise it. He creates his own clay gods, by which he lives and procreates and practices vulgar rites of simple structures composed of stones and norms. What was life insides all lives (God) is today is the accumulations of all anonyms and unnecessary deaths, holding in his open chest the meat, the flesh, the bones and internal organs of all dead animals from all the polluted rivers and disposed life to feed the earth and trees through the blood that runs through our veins; the heavily contaminated air in the name of blind evolution, and children starving and developing debilitating diseases that mutilate the body from the interior. He feels the pain of each one of them, suffer and bleeds with them. Meanwhile, we don’t recognize Him anymore.
Men didn’t build the net of Life and his balance is simply a string on it. Everything he does to the harmony, he does to himself. We submit to our destructive cycles and testify to the cruelty of the consequences without a practice and rational reaction, ignoring its tears and disappointment. Should we be betraying all out fights and existential quality that are our rights? Is not Reason a gift of our mother? And the key to reveal all mysteries? “Returning to nature” said Rousseau. Remember that man has the responsibility of heritage in himself and the intellectual sanity that nature gives us, observes Her and receives all the answers. Biological diversity is a unveal book of secret knowledge that could give us answers beyond our imagination; our immortality, cures and unknown perceptions. Every extinct specie is lost knowledge. Elevating the environment and the created beings as the most precious part of our existential stage we are elevating our own perception, survival and knowledge. One thing I know; my God is also God of the forests, rivers, seas and earth. In exploiting and destroying Her we offend Its own concept, in a time that manipulation of nature is already science fiction become reality. Destroying Her is illogical, immoral and irrational and puts us where?? Why do we call an animal irrational if I see in them so much humanity? They are born from the pain of a mother that receives them with Love into this world, feeds them, helps them grow and teaches them how to survive in their habitat; they make decisions and have perceptions of reality, perhaps much better than ourselves. They have been developing the potentials of their senses in a way that we are now only starting to understand, is reality not given by our senses? Are our senses not the ones that are most limited by nature? However, our brain is a powerful wildcard, but how much of you is a slave of your mind that tricks you and manipulates you instead of becoming really yours controlled by the Will of Her becoming filled with good thoughts, optimistic, constructive and light.
Man should maintain the principle of equal necessity of Knowledge and Faith and should act in an intelligent form to keep a certain harmony, and not corrupt the nature in the kingdom of material corps, but also not corrupt the spiritual beings aggregated, since in those ones there is a mixture of envy (conscious of a real inferiority), pride (stubborn vanity speaking the last words or being camouflaged in pride’s shell) and greed (ignorance of the cosmos, gifted free-will beings that prefer the perishable and illusionary through egocentric attitudes to the absolute, real and eternal). Meanwhile the redeemer path remains possible because the way of Man is knowledge respecting order, observing and learning with nature.
Pax in te, sicut parvulus in gremia matris suae ita est in anima mea, pax vobiscum.
(peace in you, as a child is in its mother’s arm, as is in my soul, Peace be with you)
Sir Luís Cruz
